Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth execution of service within your station, ensuring that every detail reflects Belmond’s high standards.
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and tailoring the experience to match individual expectations.
• Coordinate and mentor Commis assigned to your section, fostering teamwork, precision, and continuous learning.
• Ensure the dining room setup is impeccable before service, maintaining a refined and inviting atmosphere throughout the guest journey.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of menus, ingredients, specials, and wine pairings to confidently guide guest choices.
• Contribute to the outlet’s economic performance through mindful upselling, accurate order management, and cost awareness.
• Guarantee full compliance with hygiene, safety, and food-handling procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a luxury restaurant or upscale dining environment.
• Strong service skills, with the ability to read guests’ needs and adapt accordingly.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a natural inclination toward teamwork.
• Emotional intelligence, composure under pressure, and a polished, professional presence.
• Motivation to grow within a luxury hospitality setting and openness to continuous training.
