Who are we looking for?

Are you passionate about hospitality hardworking and eager to create unforgettable dining experiences Join one of the 4 or 5-star hotels we collaborate with in the breathtaking Austrian Alps in Vorarlberg Tyrol Kärnten Steiermark or Salzburg

We require a B2-level German or higher previous experience as a head waiter and solid knowledge of wines

Your responsibilities include managing your own station with 5 to 15 tables being the main contact for guests coordinating with one or two Commis de Rang or assistant waiters and ensuring smooth operations high-quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction

Your main functions will be:

As a Chef de Rang, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your main functions include managing a station independently, supervising Commis, and providing impeccable service to guests.

  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional experience
  • Coordinating with Commis to maintain smooth and high-quality operations
  • Demonstrating expertise in the menu and wine list to offer tailored recommendations
  • Delivering flawless table service, including tasks like flambéing and carving
  • Managing guest bills with accuracy and professionalism
  • Addressing challenges during service with composure

Requirements:

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position study in hospitality an eye for detail and quality consciousness stress resistance and the ability to integrate into a team a friendly and outgoing personality a love for service good manners a well-groomed appearance strong German language skills and excellent communication

  • Employment in one of our 4*, 4* Superior, or 5* hotels located in the stunning Austrian Alps (Vorarlberg, Tirol, Kärnten, Steiermark, Salzburg).
  • Type of contract: seasonal or permanent, depending on the hotel.
  • Minimum contract hours: 48 per week (winter season: 48-54 hours, 6 days/week; permanent contracts: 5 days/week, 40-45 hours).
  • Salary: 1,900-2,100 net per month + tips (depending on experience and German skills), with potential for higher earnings
  • Additional benefits: two extra salaries per year, vacation pay, free accommodation and meals, full insurance, and social benefits according to Austrian law.

  • Trial period: 2-3 weeks.
