You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.
How you will contribute
To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

What you need to know about this position:
The SSAL Plant Technician is responsible for overseeing the Cestas plant and managing Layers 0 to 3, with responsibility for the CCN-based automation systems from Layer 0 to 2. The main objective is to maintain a consistently high level of security against cybersecurity threats, whether existing or from systems recently deployed as part of capital projects.
The SSAL Factory Technician actively applies Mondelēz Global MINT standards and procedures and ensures the continuous security of related systems. This includes long-term activities, including financial planning, with the goal of migrating systems to a target configuration. In addition, it provides active support for NIST-led deployments and new lines/equipment deployed within the plant. Finally, the SSAL Factory technician actively contributes to the implementation of IoT and relevant Industry 4.0 strategies within the factory.
The SSAL Factory technician plays a central role in the needs of automation and industrial control. His responsibilities include ensuring best-in-class systems with line synchronization, optimal integration of logic systems from different vendors, programming of PLCs, HMI, SQL, VF and servo motors, and networking systems with remote access.
The SSAL Plant technician also drives innovation and process improvement, monitors energy consumption, and minimizes losses due to automation deviations. The goal is to maintain a logic of optimal quality, ensuring no unplanned downtime. This is achieved through the design, installation and updating of documentation, in coordination with other departments and suppliers in order to give Mondelēz a competitive advantage.
Co-owner of all production-related site security and automation systems, his responsibilities include reliability, resistance to cyberattacks, and conducting a routine self-assessment to prevent the plant's non-compliance with MDLZ standards. In addition, the position involves 2 levels of quick troubleshooting in the event of an emergency, such as system failures or security breaches.
1/. Industrial Automation Manager:
Ensure alignment between the local disaster recovery plan and the group's recovery procedures, as it relates to the factory network.
Ensure the facilitation and tracking of plant automation capital expenditures for all expenses related to the production of systems
Coordinate and ensure business continuity (production) during routine maintenance, upgrades, extensions at the group level
Ensure that all internal and external resources understand and comply with standards
Escalate issues to the regional SSAL for day-to-day work issues and evolution of group standards
Consolidate, optimize plant-related plans and investments in a cluster plan
Facilitate and track the preparation, approval, scheduling, and capital expenditures of accounts receivable
Provide guidance and assist in line automation needs, including PLC programming, HMI integration, process innovation and improvement, VFD drive and servo motor implementation, SQL, line synchronization, communication protocols between line components, remote access, design of electronics and electrical installations and control systems.
Update and ensure completion of all necessary automation documentation for the plant in a timely manner
Fulfill all operational and process responsibilities that apply to the plant
2/. Site Security:
Cybersecurity robustness: Maintain and improve cybersecurity resilience within the factory according to MINT and automation standards
Compliance and Standards: Ensure the compliance of the plant with the group's standards for automation, infrastructure (MINT) and cybersecurity. This includes ensuring that all stakeholders (internal and external) understand and comply with these standards
Cultural Change: Lead cultural change within the plant operations team to adopt cybersecurity policies and standards applied to control equipment. The SSAL Factory Technician will be responsible for building and developing the SSAL capabilities of the factory in terms of cybersecurity and automation
Problem Escalation: Be the escalation point for automation, CCN automation infrastructure, and cybersecurity
OT Digital Asset Inventory: Track and Evaluate the Factory's OT Digital Asset Inventory
Patch deployment: Deploy patches for layers 0 through 2
OT Infrastructure and Network Security: Ensure OT infrastructure and network security levels (L3 to L0)
Exception management: Be responsible for any exception to standards (MINT, Vulnerability, patching, engineering standard...); documentation and follow-up of exception procedures

Education / Certifications:
Bac+5 in automation or related fields (Master's or engineering school)
6 years of practical experience as an engineer in industrial automation and control systems in the industrial sector with high-speed lines
4 years of relevant experience in OT security abroad in various areas of cybersecurity (Network, endpoint, application, encryption, firewall, user access, remote access)
Job specific requirements:
Good knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff automation
Strong engineering background with effective overall technical analysis, logical, targeted and results-oriented approach
English level B2/CI
Expertise in Industry 4.0, OT Data Connectivity, and Cybersecurity Technologies
Collaboration with IT business partners
Knowledge of MS Office (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, collaboration tools for example, SharePoint).
Positive change management compared to current paradigms with self-motivation
Demonstrate dynamism, strength of proposal and business acumen
