Apt Resources is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Chef de Partie specializing in Sushi to join a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Japanese cuisine and an eye for detail to craft authentic and exquisite sushi dishes. Working closely with the culinary team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for discerning guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of high-quality sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and specialty rolls, adhering to authentic Japanese culinary techniques.
- Ensure freshness and quality of all sushi ingredients through careful selection and proper storage.
- Assist the Sushi Chef and culinary team with menu development and innovation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Train and supervise junior sushi kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and maintaining high standards.
- Manage inventory and order sushi ingredients as needed to prevent shortages.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie specializing in Sushi within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Deep knowledge of traditional Japanese sushi preparation techniques and presentation.
- Culinary certification or relevant qualification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be currently in UAE
