The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Julio’s Italian Restaurant. Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes while supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members.

You’ll bring strong technical skills, pride in presentation, and a genuine passion for food and teamwork, contributing to memorable dining experiences for every guest.

What you’ll do

• Lead you’re the kitchen during service and manage daily kitchen operations

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard

• Support and mentor more junior Chefs and kitchen team members

• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times

• Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service

• Assist with stock control, prep, and minimising waste

• Uphold Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards in all aspects of kitchen operations

What we need from you

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie

• Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent experience

• Have an understanding and interest in Italian cuisine including knowledge of food trends and cooking techniques

• Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail

• Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. (The ideal candidate will have 4 days availability).
