This Chef de Partie position, reporting to the Executive Chef, will be part of the Naumi Wellington Kitchen team, responsible for managing our busy operations. The Kitchen team prepares a daily guest breakfast, daily team lunches, catering for conferences and events, and dinner service at Lola Rouge, a culinary exploration of Asian-inspired cuisines, using locally sourced ingredients.

The opportunity is for a full-time permanent role, 40 hours of work per week, between Monday to Sunday as per roster.

Wat you will be doing. . .

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest culinary standards
• Supporting our Chef with creating new menu concepts
• Bringing creativity and innovation to the kitchen, contributing to the evolution of our culinary offerings
• Collaborating with the wider Naumi teams like Restaurant & Bar and Housekeeping to keep the kitchen aligned with expected volumes
• Lead by example for exceptional hygiene practices and effective Food Control Plans
• Knowledgeable/experienced in kitchen hand duties and responsibilities

Bring with you …

• 3+ years proven track record of working as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a fast-paced environment, hotel kitchen experience is a big plus
• Level 5 or equivalent qualification in culinary arts is preferable
• Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques
• A passion for creating exceptional dishes and a commitment to culinary excellence
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of food quality
