The historic Moss Vale Hotel, affectionately known as The
Pinky, is home to the popular Porterhouse Bistro – a relaxed, all-day dining
venue focused on delicious pub classics and locally sourced seasonal
ingredients. We're seeking a passionate Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen
team and grow their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

We’re on the hunt for a motivated and reliable Chef de
Partie to join our busy kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen,

About the Role

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and senior kitchen
team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals across lunch and dinner service.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who:

• Has strong organisational skills
• Brings a positive attitude to the kitchen every
  day

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running your section during service
• Preparing and plating high-quality pub and
  bistro meals
• Assisting with stock control and prep
• Maintaining food safety and cleanliness
  standards
• Supporting junior kitchen staff when needed
• Contributing to a positive team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or
  strong Commis Chef ready to step up
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen
  operations Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and
  public holidays
