Your Role in Our Kitchen
We are looking for a talented, organised Chef de Partie with a strong sense of leadership. If you see the kitchen as a balance between rigorous technique, creativity, and team management, we want to meet you. As a Chef de Partie, you will be the engine of one of our sections, ensuring the Executive Chef’s vision reaches the guest’s table flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Section Leader: Autonomously manage and organise a specific station (Grill, Starters, Fish, or Meat), ensuring total fluidity during service.
  • Master of Consistency: Ensure every dish leaves the kitchen meeting Aethos’ 5* standards, focusing on detail, flavour, and aesthetic presentation.
  • Resource & Stock Management: Supervise your section’s inventory, minimising waste and ensuring precise ordering to avoid shortages.
  • Team Mentor: Guide and inspire Demi-Chefs, Commis, and interns, fostering an environment of learning and technical excellence.
  • Safety Guardian (HACCP): Ensure strict compliance with all hygiene, food safety, and cleaning standards within your workspace.
  • Creative Collaboration: Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in creating specials and optimising operational processes.
  • Cohesion Agent: Maintain exemplary communication with front-of-house and other kitchen sections to ensure a punctual and memorable service.

Essential Skills:

  • Solid, proven experience in luxury kitchens or high-end restaurants (minimum 3-4 years).
  • Strong technical and creative command across different kitchen stations.
  • Ability to lead by example, with resilience and composure under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude, constructive critical thinking, and a desire to grow within the group.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (preferred, given our international environment).
