The Opportunity:

Bring your experience and creative flair to breakfast service at Crystalbrook Bailey!

Working alongside a talented and collaborative brigade, you will confidently run your section and bring energy, precision and consistency to every morning service. From preparation through to the pass, you will ensure each dish is delivered with the flavour, quality and presentation our guests expect.

You will coordinate daily preparation, guide Demi and Commis Chefs and work closely with our senior Culinary leaders to keep service flowing smoothly. You will also make thoughtful use of quality produce, minimise waste and contribute fresh ideas to our breakfast offering.

This is a full-time position working across a rotating seven-day roster, with early morning starts, weekends and public holidays.

The Talent:

You are a skilled and passionate chef who thrives in the pace of a busy breakfast service. Calm under pressure and proud of your craft, you understand the importance of preparation, timing and consistency when delivering an exceptional start to the guest’s day.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Experience confidently running a section within a busy restaurant, hotel or comparable kitchen, with breakfast experience highly regarded
• A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong culinary skills and the ability to balance speed, quality and presentation
• Experience guiding, training and supporting junior chefs
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
• The organisation and attention to detail needed to manage preparation, stock and service priorities
• A positive, team-focused approach and clear communication style
• An appreciation for responsible sourcing, seasonal produce and reducing food waste
