Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is Broome’s premier beachfront escape, set along the iconic 22-kilometre stretch Cable Beach where white sand meets turquoise water. We are seeking an enthusiastic casual Chef De Partie who has experience in a premium kitchen service to work within one of our restaurants. The restaurant works on a 7 day rotating roster and will require you to learn and develop skills in all sections of the busy kitchen operation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate

• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience in a high volume a la carte restaurant;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Hotel/resort experience will be highly regarded;

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Utilising the staff and resources available, organise and facilitate the highest possible standards of food service in your designated area of the kitchen.
• Ensure concerns with product and service are communicated with the Senior Chef in Charge.
• Encourage clear communication lines and forums between all personnel.
• Ensure the Kitchen is clean and tidy and ready for any inspection. Ensure Food is correctly handled, stored correctly. Ensure Staff are aware of requirements and follow Food Safety Guidelines and Food Safety Program.
