Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a vibrant, colorful hotel featuring an integrated Amsterdam Congress Center. With 476 rooms and 21 versatile meeting spaces, including a spacious ballroom that accommodates up to 700 guests in theatre style and a unique rooftop event area, we are one of the largest hotels for meetings and events in Amsterdam.

Located conveniently next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport and car. Designed by the renowned Karim Rashid, the property is part of the iconic VEN complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke, and Restaurant Azura.

We are an innovative hotel, offering self check-in to our guests. This allows us to accommodate guests faster, reduce queuing lines, and spend more time engaging in meaningful conversations to personalize their stay. Responsibilities:

• Preparing dishes for the restaurant and meetings & events;
• Performing preparatory tasks for all dishes;
• Contributing to the innovation of dishes and menus with proactive ideas;
• Assessing the quality and shelf life of ingredients and ensuring the quality of outgoing dishes;
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing ordered food supplies;
• Keeping the work area clean;
• Guiding and training apprentice chefs.

Qualifications

Essential ingredients:

• Preferably experience in a similar role in a large hotel;
• Good command of English; Dutch is considered a plus;
• Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays;
• You are proactive, stress-resistant, quality-focused, and have an eye for detail;
• Experience or interest in banqueting and Meetings & Events catering is a plus;
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
