Chef de Partie

DAA Executive Lounges | Dublin Airport

Salary: €34,000 - €36,000 per annum

Excel Aviation is currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie for a prestigious hospitality operation based within the DAA Executive Lounges at Dublin Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to join a professional kitchen team delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to international travellers in a premium airport environment.

About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day kitchen operation, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Working alongside the Head Chef and wider culinary team, you will help deliver an outstanding dining experience for lounge guests and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards
• Manage and take ownership of your designated kitchen section
• Support the development and delivery of seasonal menus
• Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in line with HACCP guidelines
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste
• Assist with stock management and inventory control
• Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a busy kitchen environment
• Professional culinary qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Understanding of HACCP and food hygiene regulations
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

As this role is based within Dublin Airport, successful candidates will be required to complete:

• 5-year employment and reference verification
• Garda Vetting
• Airport security clearance
