What You'll Do
As a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef, you'll be a hands-on leader in a high-volume kitchen: running the line during service, expediting, training and coaching cooks, managing prep lists and pars, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting the Executive Chef on ordering, inventory, and scheduling. You'll be on the fast track — this is exactly the role our Executive Chefs grew from.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or strong Lead Line Cook ready to step up)
- The ability to run a busy line calmly and keep quality high under pressure
- A teacher's instinct — you develop cooks instead of just covering for them
- Solid fundamentals: knife skills, sauces, butchery, scratch cooking
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Growth
Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef salaries start at $54,000, increase to $56,000+ as you complete milestones in our structured career path, and range up to $65,000. Upon graduating your career path (typically within your first few months), you qualify for an annual bonus opportunity starting at $3,000 based on performance metrics, with bonus potential that grows from there. Executive Chef salaries in our group begin where this range ends — the path up is real and defined.

QualificationsDesired Experience and Attributes:
- 4+ years experience including working knowledge of all kitchen stations
- Flexibility in scheduling, working major holidays and seasonal high-volume periods
- Flexible disposition for changes made by Leadership management to menus and procedures
- Able to work large events, expedite line, lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Honed soft skills for working efficiently, effectively, and respectfully to foster and maintain a positive team culture
- Motivational management style with ability to work in a team environment and see the bigger picture
- Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to share knowledge and care about others
- ServSafe Manager Certified (preferred, not mandatory)
