Chef de Cuisine
for the prestigious Porto Carras, a leading hospitality destination renowned for its exceptional dining experiences.
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that reflect the brand’s standards and enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, encouraging teamwork and ensuring high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
- Develop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and culinary trends.
- Monitor food and labor costs and implement strategies to optimize efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Foster a positive and productive work culture within the kitchen team.
- Engage with guests to receive feedback and make adjustments to enhance their dining experience.
Requirements
· Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a leadership culinary role.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury hotel or restaurant kitchens.
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
· Extensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
· Ability to create innovative and diverse culinary offerings.
