What you will do?

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring seamless delivery across premium events
• Develop innovative menu concepts that align with current food trends, guest preferences, and diverse event requirements
• Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and hands-on training to foster a high-performing, motivated culinary team
• Set and uphold exceptional food standards through efficient systems, processes, and event execution plans
• Assist in managing department budgets and food costs, utilising IT systems to drive efficiency and profitability
• Manage performance and labour costs across permanent and casual kitchen teams to meet varying event demands
• Champion on-site food safety standards and HACCP accreditation, ensuring compliance across all event operations

More about you

• Proven experience managing large-scale kitchen operations for events
• A strong track record of leading and inspiring diverse culinary teams
• Expertise in menu development, stock management, and cost control
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering business outcomes
• Relevant culinary qualifications
• Proficiency in business technology, including stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
