Job Responsibilities:

• Uphold and enhance food quality standards, hygiene, and safety practices to maintain excellence in culinary operations
• Assist in ensuring that all culinary activities are consistent with corporate strategy and that hotel initiatives are effectively implemented
• Manage the Western Banquet Kitchen to optimize profitability while delivering on the brand promise
• Maximize team performance through multi-skilling, cross-training, and flexible scheduling to achieve financial goals and exceed guest expectations
• Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily
• Oversee food quality and implement cost-control measures within the assigned restaurant kitchen
• Assist in overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality cuisine in the assigned outlet
  

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in known Western Banquet including 6 years of high production experience, at least 2 years’ experience as a Banquet Western Chef de Cuisine is required
• High school diploma or equivalent, with recognized professional culinary qualifications
• Excellent language skills in Chinese & English. Knowledge in PC skills and MS Office Applications
• Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, team building and problem solving skills are required
