Crown Perth is seeking an experienced and hands-on Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at Urban Food District This role is perfect for a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced service environment, enjoys being on the kitchen floor, and is dedicated to developing the next generation of chefs.

Working alongside a talented brigade, you'll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and inspiring your team while driving exceptional food quality, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences across a diverse range of dining concepts.

What You'll Do

• Lead from the front during service, creating a positive and high-performing kitchen culture.
• Mentor, coach, and develop chefs at all levels, supporting career growth and succession planning.
• Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation standards across a high-volume operation.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the brigade.
• Manage labour, food costs, and operational performance while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Ensure the highest levels of food safety and workplace safety compliance.

About You

• Trade qualified chef with proven leadership experience in fast-paced restaurant, hotel, food hall, or multi-outlet environments.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team during service.
• Passionate about mentoring, developing, and inspiring culinary talent.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to lead large teams through busy service periods.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational management skills.
• Committed to delivering outstanding food and guest experiences.
