Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef in their Education sector to join our team at the Telford College, TF12NP.

Job Responsibilities

• • Cooking and preparing food ready for grab & go & lunch service, ensuring minimal wastage. Supporting functions/hospitality events.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records. 
  • Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.

Key Requirements:

• • Previous catering experience required
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
  • Enhanced DBS check and ability to pass full security vetting
