Job Title: Temporary Prep Chef
Location: Dublin 12
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:30am – 15:30pm (next week only)
Pay Rate: €16 – €18 per hour (average rate for chefs in Dublin)
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable Prep Chef to join our clients catering team on a temporary basis next week. The ideal candidate will be available all next week, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to support a busy kitchen team with essential preparation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, chop, and portion ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
Follow all HACCP, food hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
Correctly label, date, and store prepared items.
Maintain prep stations and equipment in a clean, tidy, and organized condition.
Safely operate kitchen equipment after training.
Support the production team in meeting daily order requirements.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow direction from senior chefs.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a prep chef or in a similar kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
