Checkout Supervisor | New World Wānaka

Lead our checkout team and help create exceptional customer experiences in the heart of Wānaka.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Checkout Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our Checkout Department and help lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Support and supervise checkout operations.
• Close and secure the Checkout Department during evening shifts.
• Ensure checkout processes and procedures are followed correctly.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Monitor checkout security and compliance.
• Coach and support team members.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Liquor Licensing requirements.

Position Details

• Permanent Full-Time
• Thursday to Monday
• Afternoon and evening shifts

Essential Requirements

• Current Liquor Controller Qualification (LCQ).
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Ability to keep calm when the queue seems to have a life of its own!
