Checker – Warehouse Operations

Lemmon Valley, NV | $18.00+/Hour DOE | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Micone Staffing Resources is hiring a Warehouse Checker for a growing company in Lemmon Valley. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in getting things right.

The Checker serves as an important quality-control step in the warehouse operation. After Picker/Packers complete an order, the Checker reviews the order against the pick ticket to make sure the correct products and quantities were selected before the order is packaged and shipped.

This company is looking for people who want a long-term opportunity. Associates work approximately 520 hours through Micone Staffing before becoming eligible for direct hire, with additional pay, bonuses, benefits, and advancement opportunities available after successful conversion.

What You'll Do

• Receive completed orders from Picker/Packers
• Review each order against the corresponding pick ticket
• Verify product numbers, descriptions, quantities, and other order details
• Identify missing, incorrect, or damaged products before shipment
• Notify the Picker/Packer when an error is found so it can be corrected
• Perform a final accuracy check before approving the order for shipment
• Package and box completed orders as required
• Print and apply shipping labels
• Stack completed orders safely and correctly on pallets
• Maintain an organized and accurate workflow
• Communicate with Pickers, Packers, Shipping, and other warehouse team members
• Assist in other warehouse departments as needed
• Participate in cross-training to learn additional areas of the operation

Warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, or quality-control experience is preferred but not required. The right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential.

Language Requirements

Spanish-speaking and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Candidates do not necessarily need to speak fluent English; however, they must be able to read and understand enough English to accurately review pick tickets, product information, quantities, shipping labels, and other order documentation.

Temp-to-Hire Career Opportunity

This position is designed to lead to permanent employment for associates who demonstrate strong attendance, performance, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

• Starting pay of $18.00+/hour depending on experience
• Approximately 520 hours through Micone Staffing before becoming eligible for direct hire
• $1.00/hour increase upon successful conversion
• Additional pay increase after 90 days with the company
• Quarterly bonus eligibility after conversion
• Quarterly bonuses have historically ranged from approximately $800–$2,500
• Company reports quarterly bonuses have been consistently paid for the past five years
