Business Partnering
Be a proactive member of the AMEA Digital Leadership Team and Zone Business Leadership Team; engage with local Council members and key stakeholders (including GMs & M&S Heads), acting as the market representative of the Digital function
Develop a forward-looking vision of the Zone Digital strategy and roadmap, aligned with global and regional strategies
Manage business satisfaction and proactively propose innovative digital solutions to support Zone business needs
Liaise with the global digital organization and act as the voice of global digital in the zone
Partner closely with fellow digital leadership team members
Global Roadmap Management
Ensure continuity of digital solutions and services through appropriate resource allocation in collaboration with other Digital teams
Act as an active contributor to Product delivery teams, providing market-specific business insights and supporting Product Managers/Product Owners in planning product releases
Ensure relevance of the digital project portfolio in line with Zone priorities
Assess financial implications of digital programs within the Zone
IT Infrastructure and Operations Management
Oversee zonal IT infrastructure, including deployment and maintenance of data centers, networks, hardware, and software to ensure availability, scalability, and reliability
Ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss
Oversee digital support services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across functions (sales, marketing, manufacturing, customer service)
Cybersecurity and Data Privacy (aligned with CISO organization)
Ensure compliance with local and international data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Implement strong cybersecurity measures (firewalls, encryption, access controls, audits) to protect company data and intellectual property
Identify and mitigate risks related to digital systems, data security, and regulatory compliance
Digital Governance and Compliance
Develop and enforce zonal digital policies and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance
Conduct internal audits and report key digital metrics to senior management
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, and service delivery to align with business objectives
Team Leadership and Talent Management
Lead, develop, and mentor the zonal digital team, including teams at manufacturing sites
Manage digital budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control while meeting business needs
Digital and E-Commerce Support
Lead digital strategy for platforms supporting consumer health products (e.g., mobile apps, e-commerce platforms)
Oversee integration of digital systems with e-commerce platforms and third-party tools to ensure seamless customer experience
Enable effective use of customer data for personalization, marketing, and service improvements
Collaboration with Global Digital and Business Units
Act as liaison between zonal and global digital teams to align on global initiatives while addressing local needs
Collaborate cross-functionally (science, marketing, sales, supply chain, finance) to drive digital innovation and efficiency
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
Supply Chain and Manufacturing Digital Support
Ensure digital systems support efficient supply chain operations (sourcing, inventory, distribution)
Oversee implementation of digital solutions supporting manufacturing processes (production planning, quality control, logistics)
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
Provide regular updates to zonal and global leadership on digital initiatives, risks, and opportunities
Track and report KPIs related to project delivery, budgets, service levels, and business impact
Local Application Management
Coordinate zonal digital activities and drive continuous operational improvement
Support convergence of local applications into the strategic product portfolio and manage decommissioning of legacy systems
Report on service delivery and SLAs across industrial and distribution sites
Drive user adoption of new solutions and lead change management at site level
Capture local business requirements and escalate needs to relevant business platforms
