We are looking for a talented Chassis Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business in Duluth, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical systems with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders and reports within company systems
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership regarding equipment status and service needs
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall customer satisfaction
To be successful in this role the following is preferred:
- Strong mechanical background with proven hands-on experience
- Proficiency in computer systems for diagnostics, reporting, and work order management
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the assigned service area
- Experience with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques (Preferred)
- A current valid license is required for this role
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred).
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Minimal level of work shop experience required
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products

Work Environment & Expectations
- Opportunities to support additional areas of the business, including power generation and high-horsepower (HHP) engine applications within mining operations
- Required availability for overtime, including extended hours, evenings, and weekends, based on business needs and customer demands
- Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational priorities
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence
- A current valid license is required for this role
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
