Role Summary


The successful applicant for this position will join our Chassis electronics team and will be responsible for the design, development, releasing, integration and delivery of state-of-the-art chassis electronics systems, software and hardware


Dimension of Function:


Chassis Electrical & Electronics team is responsible for Traction Control Module, Stability Control, Steering, ABS systems, dampers, etc. Responsible of design, development of technical specification and requirements control, testing and integration for delivery on all Chassis modules.


A position within the Chassis electrical & electronics team requires a highly motivated and hands-on team player with exceptional attention to detail, diligence, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate well. The fast-paced development provides a challenging environment suited to an engineer who can quickly develop skills in new areas and liaise with and drive other engineers within a multidisciplinary/global team. Area of Responsibility


  • Lead
    the development of

    electrical and electronic systems for Chassis
    modules

    (e.g. EPS, WCBS, Steering systems, Suspension control, Brake
    systems, etc.) from concept to SOP.

  • Define
    and manage

    system requirements

    (functional, performance, safety) in
    alignment with vehicle-level targets and regulations.

  • Develop
    and maintain

    System Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Scope of Requirements
    (SOR)

    for sourcing and development.

  • Lead
    technical discussions and interface with

    suppliers

    to ensure design
    compliance, timing, and deliverables.

  • Ensuring
    system development follows

    ASPICE, V-model, and ISO 26262 (Functional
    Safety)

    processes.

  • Coordinate
    cross-functionally with

    Vehicle Integration, Mechanical, Software,
    Validation, Quality, Purchasing, and Project Management teams

    .

  • Define
    and manage

    network communication (CAN/LIN/Ethernet)

    and ensure
    proper integration within the EE architecture.

  • Oversee

    system integration, validation, and testing activities

    (vehicle
    level, HIL, SIL, Lab car).

  • Lead

    problem
    analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions

    for
    system-level issues.

  • Manage

    change requests (ECR/ECN)

    and ensure proper impact assessment
    across system and vehicle levels.

  • Drive

    robustness,
    reliability, and compliance assessments

    for chassis EE systems.

  • Support

    vehicles build phases, DV/PV testing, and production readiness

    .

  • Lead
    and coordinate

    calibration activities for chassis control systems

    (e.g. ABS/ESC, EPB, steering) to ensure optimal performance, safety, and
    vehicle behavior.

  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to

    define,
    validate, and fine-tune calibration parameters

    through vehicle testing and
    data analysis.


Requirements


  • Strong understand of Chassis ECUs: WCNS, EPS, Steering, Suspension, Brake control

  • Experience with vehicle or HIL testing for
    chassis systems.

  • Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANape, flashing
    tools, and diagnostic tools.

  • Knowledge of ECU software development, embedded
    systems, and automotive communication protocols.

  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety,
    OBD, and relevant regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • 5+ years of experience in Chassis component design and development
