YOUR ROLE
Your main role will be to ensure the financial follow-up of chartering contracts.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Be informed and apply the financial terms (payment deadlines) of the charter parties.
Draw up monthly financial statements.
Prepare charter party rental payment deadlines.
Check invoices in conjunction with negotiators and order payments.
Monitor the collection of charter payments.
Follow-up with any third-party debtors.
Settle financial disputes with shipowners.
Take charge of strategic financial files for the Management.
Work on reports and statistics.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Management.
2 years' professional experience in the shipping field would be a plus
Fluent English
Good command of IT and office automation tools
Rigor, organizational skills and responsiveness
Good team spirit
