Chartered Civil Engineer
The Chartered Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing civil engineering activities related to solar and other ongoing infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising construction works, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams and contractors.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and manage civil engineering projects from design to completion.
Oversee site inspections, structural assessments, and quality assurance processes.
Prepare engineering designs, technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide professional guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status from a recognised engineering institution (e.g., IESL).
Minimum of seven years’ relevant industry experience.
Strong proficiency in structural design, project planning, and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
