
Charge Nurse, Motherbaby Unit
Shift Full-time, 3rd Shift
The Baptist Health Lexington Mother/Baby Unit is comprised of 42 private rooms and is staffed by skilled and compassionate nurses who specialize in providing a high level of patient-centered postpartum care for both Mom and baby. Our newborn nursery is staffed by two newborn assessment nurses (NANs) and our patients receive breastfeeding guidance from staff along with our knowledgeable, certified lactation consultants. Many members of the team have received extra training and certification in maternal and newborn care. Our focus is assisting families in getting the best start possible and making the transition to home as smooth as possible through the provision of quality care, education, and support.
