Job Description

Effectively leads the patient care team to achieve optimum patient outcomes during their shift. Assumes responsibilities as delegated by the Manager including direction, supervision and delegation of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities to staff. Facilitates effective communication and resolution of work site operation issues that support Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville in its strategic initiatives.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license required.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification required 3 months from date of hire/transfer.
  • Certification in area of expertise preferred.
