Job Description
The Chapter Manager serves as the primary operational leader for the chapter, partnering with the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Strategic Alliance Partners, and Global leadership to deliver an exceptional member experience. This role oversees chapter operations, membership engagement, Accelerator programming, events, communications, financial administration, and sponsor fulfillment to ensure a healthy, growing, and highly engaged organization.
Key Responsibilities
Chapter Operations & Board Support
- Serve as the primary liaison between the chapter, Global leadership, Regional leadership, Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Strategic Alliance Partners.
- Support chapter governance, strategic planning, leadership transitions, board meetings, and annual strategy summits.
- Manage chapter communications, calendars, operational systems, records, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare board agendas, reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up action items.
Membership & Community Engagement
- Manage the full member lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, retention, renewals, and member communications.
- Coordinate new member orientation, Navigator assignments, Forum Training, and member integration activities.
- Support membership growth initiatives, prospect events, Test Drives, CRM management, and member engagement programs.
Accelerator Program Management
- Support the planning, administration, and execution of the Accelerator program.
- Coordinate Accountability Groups, coach assignments, Learning Days, participant onboarding, communications, and renewals.
- Manage applications, income verification, participant tracking, event logistics, and program reporting.
- Partner with Accelerator Chairs and Coaches to ensure a consistent and high-quality participant experience.
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute learning events, social events, retreats, Test Drives, strategic partner events, and annual chapter programs.
- Manage venue sourcing, vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, registration platforms, event communications, logistics, and onsite execution.
- Coordinate event promotion, attendee management, post-event evaluations, and follow-up communications.
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and distribute newsletters, event promotions, announcements, renewal campaigns, and member communications.
- Maintain websites, event calendars, registration systems, and marketing assets.
- Support social media, email marketing, and branding initiatives.
Strategic Alliance Partner (SAP) Management
- Manage sponsor recruitment support, onboarding, contract administration, invoicing, renewals, and benefit fulfillment.
- Maintain sponsor relationships and coordinate visibility opportunities throughout the year.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage invoicing, billing, membership renewals, sponsorship payments, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning with chapter leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of payments and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in operations, event management, membership organizations, nonprofit management, project management, or related fields.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience supporting executive leaders, volunteer boards, entrepreneurs, or business owners preferred.
