As Chapter Lead, you’ll manage a group of 15 technical professionals (BAs and Project Managers) with a focus on their career development, capability growth, and performance. You’ll bring a technical background and people leadership experience to support, grow, and motivate your team in a hybrid, evolving environment. You’ll be laying the foundations: building relationships, setting expectations, and establishing a growth and performance oriented team culture, supporting our people to thrive as the organisation scales. This role is based in Petone, Wellington.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capability building across your chapter, including training, mentoring, and defining “what good looks like”

  • Remove blockers, coach individuals, and build team culture

Skills and Experience Required

  • A background in tech – you may have been a developer or worked closely in the delivery space
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills
  • Able to work through ambiguity and bring clarity where structure is evolving
  • Experience in hybrid environments; exposure to Agile and Waterfall methods
  • Comfortable navigating HR processes and people systems
