Chapter Lead, AI Enablement and Execution

Role purpose

The Chapter Lead, AI Enablement and Execution will lead the adoption and uplift of AI capability across Change & Delivery, the CoE and the broader businesses we support. This role will identify practical AI opportunities, define the tools and skills required, and lead the coaching, training and support needed to embed AI into everyday ways of working. The role is responsible for turning AI ambition into practical execution, helping teams use AI responsibly to reimagine how change is delivered, uplift quality, unlock new possibilities and create better experiences for colleagues and customers.

Key responsibilities

Lead AI enablement strategy and execution

  • Develop and drive the AI enablement roadmap for Change & Delivery and the CoE, aligned to business priorities and enterprise AI standards.

  • Identify high-value AI use cases across change, delivery, communications, reporting, insights, planning, stakeholder engagement and process improvement.

  • Translate opportunities into practical implementation plans, adoption activities and measurable outcomes.

  • Partner with senior leaders, business teams, technology, data, risk and governance stakeholders to support safe and effective AI adoption.

Build AI capability

  • Assess current maturity, capability gaps and adoption barriers across teams.

  • Define the AI tools, skills and proficiency levels required for different roles and teams.

  • Lead the design and delivery of coaching, training, playbooks, guidance and communities of practice.

  • Embed AI into day-to-day delivery practices so it becomes a practical enabler, not a separate initiative.

Lead the chapter

  • Lead and develop a team of AI Enablement and Execution professionals.

  • Set standards, templates, practices and quality expectations for AI enablement.

  • Create a culture of curiosity, experimentation, responsible innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Provide practical thought leadership on emerging AI trends and their relevance to Change & Delivery.

Key outcomes

  • A clear and practical AI enablement roadmap is established.

  • Priority AI use cases, tools and capability needs are identified.

  • Teams are equipped with the coaching, training and support to use AI confidently and responsibly.

  • AI-enabled ways of working are embedded across Change & Delivery and the CoE.

  • Change & Delivery teams are empowered to reimagine how change is delivered, leveraging AI to unlock new possibilities, uplift quality and create better experiences for colleagues and customers.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in change, delivery, transformation, capability uplift or business enablement.

  • Strong understanding of AI tools, generative AI and practical business use cases.

  • Experience designing,coaching or learning programscentred around AI upskilling

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.

  • Ability to turn complex technology concepts into simple, practical guidance.

  • Experience leading teams, chapters or communities of practice.

  • Strong execution discipline and comfort operating in ambiguity.

  • Understanding of responsible AI, risk, governance and change adoption.
