What you’ll do:
The Chaplain Resident will provide compassionate emotional and spiritual care to patients, families, and staff as part of a 24/7 chaplaincy service. Participates in a dual-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program to develop pastoral care competencies, engaging in supervision, peer learning, and ongoing professional development. Conducts pastoral assessments, responds to referrals in a timely manner, documents care accurately, and collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams. Supports departmental activities, on-call coverage, and scheduling, while demonstrating organizational values and commitment to continuous learning and spiritual care excellence.
What you’ll need for this job
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Masters Degree
Specify Degree(s): counselling, theology, ethics, pastoral care
Residency: 1 unit of CPE
Minimum Experience:
Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Compensation:
Pay Range: $16.70- $25.53 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
