At TriHealth, we believe compassionate care includes tending to the spiritual and emotional needs of every patient and family. As an Associate Chaplain, you will play a meaningful role in delivering pastoral care across Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, and Hospice of Cincinnati—offering presence, listening, and support during moments that matter most.
This role is ideal for individuals beginning or growing their pastoral care journey. You’ll provide spiritual support through prayer, active listening, and connection to spiritual resources, while gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting. As part of a collaborative pastoral care team, you’ll contribute to patient-centered care by documenting spiritual needs, supporting advance care planning discussions, and integrating into assigned care units through rounds and team engagement.
At TriHealth, we foster growth and development—supporting you in completing Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), pursuing ordination or endorsement, and building your professional foundation in chaplaincy. Flexibility and teamwork are key, as you support cross-coverage needs and participate in on-call care.
