Valley Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to join our team in providing spiritual care and emotional support to our residents, families, and staff. The Chaplain works collaboratively with administration, recreation, nursing, and social services to ensure that the spiritual needs of those we serve are met with respect, empathy, and understanding. This position requires the ability to work independently, along with flexibility to serve during evenings and weekends as needed.

Education and Experience
Required:
• Baccalaureate degree and a Master’s degree in Divinity or equivalent theological education.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, performing spiritual assessments and developing individualized spiritual care plans for residents.
• Provide spiritual and emotional support to residents, families, and staff, including bereavement care.
• Conduct worship services and other spiritual activities that reflect the diverse needs of the community.
• Foster relationships with local faith communities, pastors, and churches.
• Support philanthropic and community engagement efforts that strengthen the chaplaincy program.
• Demonstrates empathy, respect, and sensitivity when supporting residents, families, and staff.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Communicates clearly and compassionately, both verbally and in writing.
• Builds and maintains a positive atmosphere of trust, warmth, and optimism.
