We are seeking an aggressive and relationship-driven Channel Sales Executive to manage and expand our network of retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for driving secondary and primary sales of gypsum boards and related accessories within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will excel at building long-term business relationships, maintaining price discipline, and ensuring maximum product availability across hardware and building material counters

What you’ll be doing:

· Dealer & Network Management: Visit retailers, wholesalers, and stockists daily to secure regular stock orders and ensure high visibility of our products.

· Network Expansion: Identify and onboard new retailers and wholesalers in unrepresented pockets of the territory to expand market reach.

· System & Volume Selling: Drive volume sales of standard gypsum boards while actively pushing high-margin variants (moisture-resistant, fire-rated) and system accessories (GI framework, channels, jointing compounds).

· Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of bulk orders to wholesalers and retailers.

· Payment Collection & Credit Control: Monitor outstanding dues closely, ensure timely payment collections from the market, and maintain strict adherence to company credit policies.

· Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, discount structures, supply shortages, and distributor schemes to provide actionable feedback to management.

· Promotional Activities: Execute market-level promotional activities, dealer meets, and installer awareness programs to pull demand through the retail counters.

· Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure product specifications are met.

· Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.

What we’d love for you to have:

We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

· Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in channel sales, dealer management, or field sales within the building materials industry (e.g., gypsum, plywood, laminates, cement, paints, hardware, or tiles).

· Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the local retail and wholesale distribution landscape for building materials.

· Relationship Building: Proven ability to connect with traditional trade owners, negotiate pricing/margins, and handle market credit dynamics effectively.

· Mobility: Must possess a personal four wheeler and a valid driving license for intensive daily market travel.

· Communication: Fluent in the local language and comfortable using Sales Force Automation (SFA) apps for daily reporting and order booking.

· Commercial Acumen: Basic understanding of trade discounts, margins, schemes, and basic calculating skills to negotiate.
