The Channel Manager – P-ON will be responsible for developing and executing a winning sales strategy for the Premium On-Trade channel, delivering revenue growth . The role will focus on building a future-ready sales organization, strengthening route-to-consumer strategies, and driving strong partnerships with key customers and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the development and execution of strategic, annual, and integrated commercial plans for the Premium On-Trade channel.
· Identify and unlock growth opportunities through strong insights, in collaboration with Commercial and Trade Marketing teams.
· Drive Route-to-Consumer (RTC) effectiveness aligned with channel and category ambitions.
· Build and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring strong capability development and succession readiness.
· Champion digital and technology initiatives, including Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Business Intelligence tools.
· Strengthen Revenue Management, including pricing, pack architecture, promotions, and mix optimization.
· Embed channel and customer centricity, ideal channel classification, and customer segmentation.
· Lead Sales & Operational Planning / IBP, ensuring execution readiness across short- and mid-term horizons.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
· Postgraduate qualification (MBA / PG Diploma in Marketing, Sales, or Management) — an added advantage
· 5–7 years of commercial experience within Sales and Trade Marketing within FMCG / Beverage / Alcoholic Beverage sectors
· Proven experience in managing the Premium On-Trade channel (Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs)
· Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
· Proven leadership and people development skills
· Experience in revenue management, customer partnerships, and execution excellence
· Strong communication skills; English proficiency essential
