This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Channel Account Manager III based in Brazil.
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced channel and account management professional focused on growing strategic partner relationships.
You will manage a portfolio of key partners, strengthening engagement while driving revenue, profitability and market growth.
The role combines relationship management, sales strategy, business development and performance analysis.
You will work closely with partner sales, marketing and product teams to align strategies and create mutually valuable opportunities.
A key focus will be identifying upselling, cross-selling and new-business opportunities within partner customer bases.
You will use performance data and commercial insights to shape growth plans, monitor results and improve portfolio performance.
The role offers a dynamic environment where strong communication, commercial ownership and relationship-building directly influence business outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Manage, develop and strengthen relationships across a portfolio of strategic partners, through both virtual and in-person meetings, visits and presentations.
- Drive mutual growth by building trusted, productive relationships with partners and identifying opportunities to increase the value of the partnership.
- Develop strong working relationships with partner teams across sales, marketing and product strategy.
- Communicate the organisation's strategic direction and ensure partners understand how their individual strategies can align with broader business objectives.
- Define and execute sales strategies designed to increase portfolio profitability, accelerate growth and deliver meaningful value for partners.
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and new-business prospecting within partner customer bases.
- Establish short- and long-term growth opportunities and create actionable plans to convert them into revenue, new business and increased market share.
- Analyse portfolio performance, sales indicators and other business data using tools such as Excel and Google Sheets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Establish effective relationship governance, including regular business reviews, revenue discussions and performance assessments with partners.
- Prepare and present regular portfolio updates to management, covering performance indicators, forecasts, opportunities, risks and challenges.
- Maintain a strong focus on achieving sales, portfolio growth, revenue and partner-retention objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management, customer portfolio management, channel management or partner sales, with a strong focus on commercial results.
- Demonstrated success in sales and negotiation, supported by measurable achievements such as revenue growth, customer acquisition or portfolio retention.
- Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with performance metrics and commercial data.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets and CRM platforms for managing accounts, analysing performance and tracking opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships both remotely and in person.
- Strong results orientation and a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales, portfolio growth and partner-retention targets.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence communicating with different stakeholder groups, including through virtual meetings.
- Willingness and availability to travel as required for partner meetings, visits and business activities.
- Postgraduate education is an advantage.
- Experience working in technology companies or startups is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM solutions such as Salesforce is advantageous.
- Additional training or certifications in sales, negotiation, account management or remote selling are valued.
- Experience delivering engaging online and in-person presentations using platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams is a plus.
