About the role

Are you a dynamic and passionate Change Specialist ready to make a real difference? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Strategy and Transformation Team at Knox and play a key role in driving meaningful change across the organisation.

This role is specifically focused on supporting the rollout of Knox’s Core Business Systems (ERP) Program. In its first phase, the Program will replace Council’s finance system with the Technology One platform, helping to modernise core business processes, strengthen data and reporting, and support more consistent ways of working across the organisation.

In this role you'll:

  • Support the people and process change needed to successfully implement Technology One.
  • Partner with the project team, business areas including the Working Group, Executive Leadership governance and other stakeholders to prepare for change, build readiness and support adoption.
  • Engage teams to understand impacts to processes, systems, data and ways of working as part of the Technology One Finance module rollout in July 2027.
  • Help manage change risks and stakeholder engagement.

The role is a permanent role. This is ideally a full time role working at the Knox Civic Centre in a hybrid capacity, but 4 days a week part time will be considered. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 7 classified role, remuneration will be $104,630.20 - $117,345.47 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will bring to this role

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • Experience with Technology One solution and/or large scale finance ERP implementation will be an advantage
  • Practical experience in supporting large scale complex change management projects
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to fulfil a strategic change implementation role that initiates, supports and creates a difference and enhances the organisation’s capacity to improve performance, and embrace change.
  • Experience in using Prosci/ADKAR methodologies is preferred. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high quality reports and discussion papers, make formal presentations and to represent Council in professional & community forums.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, coach and advise stakeholders and gather information from difficult stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Knowledge of project management processes.
