Change & Release Manager – Cloud Transformation

Location: Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw

Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

Rate: Up to 135 PLN/h

Contracting Party: Optiveum (We are the recruitment partner and we sign the cooperation agreement directly with the chosen candidate)

About the role:

Optiveum is currently seeking an experienced Change & Release Manager to take ownership of change and release activities within a major Google Cloud transformation program. You will be providing your expertise to our client, a recognized organization in the banking sector.

In this role, you will report to the program managers and act as the single point of contact for coordinating both business and technical change-related activities across the program.

What you will be doing:

• Managing business process and technical changes across the transformation program.
• Coordinating and facilitating necessary changes with application development teams.
• Managing the change and release management processes in alignment with the bank's internal guidelines.
• Coordinating information-sharing and upskilling activities to ensure relevant users are well-prepared for the transition.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Change and Release Management.
• Proven, practical experience in change and release management within cloud migration projects (please ensure this is highlighted in your application/CV).
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills—ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, drive follow-ups, and provide clarity in both verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Experience in facilitating information sharing and training-related activities.
• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written (fluent/C1+).
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
