Qualifications

  • Experience in IT Business Consulting, Business Analysis, Solution Analysis, Project Delivery, Digital Product Management, or Business Partnering roles.

  • Strong understanding of system architecture concepts, including application integration, data flows, APIs, SaaS platforms, cloud-hosted solutions, security considerations, resiliency, and support models.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess technical solution designs, challenge vendor assumptions, and translate technical complexity into clear business implications and decision options.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.

  • Experience managing digital products, business applications, customer engagement platforms, or technology initiatives across cross-functional and global teams.

  • Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions while considering cost, delivery complexity, operational readiness, risk, and long-term maintainability.

IT Business Consultant – Consumer Digital Ecosystem & Digital Enablement

· Serve as the primary IT partner for a consumer-focused business area, ensuring digital platforms and technology initiatives effectively support business operations, customer engagement, and growth. Act as the bridge between business and IT teams, driving solution delivery, operational excellence, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across the broader digital ecosystem.

· Provide strong technical oversight across system architecture, solution analysis, integration decisions, vendor proposals, and platform evolution. The role requires the ability to evaluate complex technology options, challenge vendors at a technical level, assess trade-offs, and recalibrate IT strategy based on emerging business, operational, market, security, and delivery events.

Key Responsibilities

· Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend technology solutions that support business objectives, operational resilience, and long-term platform direction.

· Analyze current-state and target-state system architecture, identifying dependencies, integration points, technical risks, scalability constraints, security considerations, and areas for simplification or modernization.

· Challenge vendor solution designs, estimates, assumptions, technical recommendations, and delivery approaches to ensure alignment with business outcomes, enterprise standards, operational requirements, and sustainable architecture principles.

· Evaluate vendor proposals, solution options, proof-of-concepts, technical documentation, integration models, data flows, security posture, performance expectations, and operational support implications.

· Maintain situational awareness across multiple concurrent events, including product releases, incidents, business changes, regulatory considerations, platform roadmap shifts, vendor constraints, and market enablement priorities.

· Recalibrate IT strategy, prioritization, and delivery approach when new risks, dependencies, opportunities, or external events materially affect business value, delivery timelines, solution viability, or operational stability.

· Lead coordination and monitoring of market enablement initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.

· Support the rollout and adoption of customer engagement platforms, including launch readiness, stakeholder coordination, change impact assessment, and post-launch stabilization.

· Prepare and present regular executive updates on initiative status, architectural implications, risks, achievements, trade-offs, recommendations, and key decisions.

· Oversee hypercare activities for newly implemented solutions to ensure a smooth transition into operations.

· Coordinate the resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations across the digital ecosystem, including global platforms, local applications, and third-party SaaS solutions.

· Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and local business stakeholders to ensure reliable service delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment between local needs and global technology direction.
