As Change Managerin the GBS Transformation Office, you will lead the people side of this transformation. Based in Lisbon, you will be accountable for shaping and driving the change strategy across the transformation portfolio, ensuring that process owners, operational teams, and leaders are engaged, prepared, and empowered to adopt and sustain new ways of working.
This is a senior role for someone who can turn technical delivery into durable behavioural and organisational change. You will help ensure that what succeeds in lighthouse initiatives becomes embedded, scalable, and sustainable across GBS.
What you’ll do
You will design and lead the change management strategy across the transformation portfolio, covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption. Working closely with the Transformation Office and delivery teams, you will assess change impacts, develop readiness plans, and support each lighthouse initiative and AI Factory deployment through to sustained adoption.
You will partner with GBS process owners, operational leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across Technology, Data & AI, HR, and GBS Operationsto build ownership, remove barriers, and create the conditions for successful change. You will play a key role in translating complex transformation into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
A major focus of the role will be building capability and confidence across teams, designing and delivering training and upskilling that enables people to work effectively alongside agents, assistants, and automations You will also support strategic workforce planning by helping define the people and capability implications of technology change across GBS.
Beyond implementation, you will help embed change into permanent business-as-usual capability, ensuring benefits endure beyond initial deployment. You will define and track adoption metrics, monitor behavioural change, and link sustained adoption to the strategic ambition of removing 50% of manual work across GBS by 2030
Essential requirements
Significant experience leadingchange managementacross large-scaleorganisational,digital, oroperational transformation
Demonstrated expertise in a recognised change methodology such asProsci,ADKAR, or equivalent
Proven ability to drive adoption of new technology and ways of working across multiple teams and geographies
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, including at senior levels
Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
Evidence of operating effectively infast-paced,ambiguous, and evolving transformation environments
Ability to lead through change with positivity, credibility, and resilience
Fluent English, written and spoken
Desirable requirements
Experience leading change forAI,automation, ordigital adoptionprogrammes
Prosci,ADKAR, or equivalent change certification
Experience inpharmaceutical,life sciences, orGBS / Shared Servicesenvironments
Workforce planning or capability development experience
Familiarity withAI-augmented ways of workingand the cultural shifts they require
