Ansvar Australia, proudly part of the Benefact Group, is a purpose-led organisation supporting organisations that protect people and communities. We are entering an exciting period of growth and change and are focused on building strong leadership, capability and culture.
Reporting to the General Manager, Strategy and Change, the Change Manager will work across Ansvar's major programs and projects to ensure changes are understood, adopted and embedded into the way the business operates. You'll partner with executives, project teams, and affected business areas to manage change impacts, change readiness and embedment, applying engaging, structured and pragmatic approaches that drive real outcomes.
This is a role for someone who knows that successful change isn't just about plans and frameworks. It's about people, timing and making sure new ways of working actually stick.
We are embracing significant organisational change and need innovative thinkers and change makers who want to shape the future, not just be part of it.
Your Voice Matters Work directly with decision-makers who champion fresh ideas and where you can make a genuine impact.
Diverse Opportunities: As a nimble, dynamic organisation, you’ll gain exposure to challenging projects and cross-functional skills.
Meaningful Work: From our Community Education Programme to protecting heritage buildings and partnering with faith-based and community organisations, your work will make a tangible difference.
Be part of a collaborative, inclusive, ambitious culture committed to making a difference and working towards a more sustainable future. Ranked amongst Australia's Top 40 Best Workplaces to Give Back in 2024, we offer fantastic career and development opportunities, with all of our profits going to charity and good causes.
Lead end-to-end change management for large, complex and multi-stream programs and projects, partnering with project managers, sponsors and business owners to integrate change and delivery plans.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and change-impact assessments across people, processes, technology, and governance, identifying adoption risks and resistance early.
Support executives and senior leaders to act as visible, effective sponsors of change, coaching them to reinforce desired behaviours and maintain consistent messaging.
Design and deliver targeted communication and engagement plans, and coordinate capability uplift activities, including training needs analysis and learning materials, in partnership with People & Culture.
Define and manage readiness for go-live and transition, lead embedment planning, and monitor adoption through feedback, quality assurance and change success metrics.
Demonstrable experience leading change management across large, complex programs, ideally within insurance, financial services or a regulated environment.
Proven ability to work with senior leaders and executives to build sponsorship and drive adoption across impacted teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and engagement to different audiences.
A structured but pragmatic approach to change. You know when to apply the framework and when to adapt it to the business's actual needs.
Experience developing change management tools, templates and frameworks within a PMO or project delivery environment.
