As we continue to invest in our future, we’re looking for an experienced Organisational Change Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping how change is delivered across our Airline Operations environment.

About the role:

Sitting within our Airline Operations Technology domain this role offers the opportunity to lead, and shape change across some of the most critical and visible initiatives in the business.

Based in Brisbane, you’ll work with senior leaders, project teams and frontline stakeholders to ensure change is not only delivered but truly adopted and sustained.

This isn’t just about frameworks and plans. It’s about influencing at scale, navigating complexity, and ensuring our people are set up to succeed through change.


In addition, you will:

  • Leading end-to-end change strategy and delivery across large, complex technology initiatives
  • Translating business strategy into clear, actionable change plans that drive measurable adoption
  • Conducting detailed change impact and readiness assessments across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Partnering with leaders to embed change in a way that is practical, sustainable and people-focused
  • Designing and delivering high-impact communication, engagement and training strategies
  • Proactively identifying and managing change risks, resistance and adoption barriers
  • Providing data-driven insights on change effectiveness, adoption and business outcomes
  • Contributing to the uplift of change capability and maturity across Virgin Australia and within Virgin’s Technology Change Chapter community.

What you’ll bring:

You’re a strategic and hands-on change professional who thrives in complex, evolving environments and knows how to bring people on the journey.

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale organisational change within complex environments
  • Deep expertise in change management methodologies, tools and frameworks, with the ability to flex your approach
  • A track record of influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders and operational leaders
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distil complex change into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, with the ability to connect change outcomes to business performance
  • Experience navigating highly regulated or operational environments (aviation experience advantageous)
  • A proactive, outcomes-focused mindset with the resilience to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
