Job Description

Job Title: Change Management Specialist

Location: Onsite (Manitoba)
Duration: July 2, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (with possible extension to June 30, 2027)
Work Type: Full-Time Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to support a large-scale Digital Health transformation initiative. This role will focus on driving organizational change, enabling adoption of new systems and processes, and supporting healthcare transformation through structured change management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute organizational change management (OCM) strategies aligned with project objectives

  • Develop and implement change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training strategies

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of change initiatives

  • Design and deliver training programs, materials, and curriculum for healthcare systems and business processes

  • Support business process transformation initiatives within a healthcare environment

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations

  • Monitor and report on change adoption, risks, and resistance management

  • Contribute to project planning, timelines, budgeting, and execution activities
Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)

  • Valid PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner) certification

  • Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Preferred Qualifications

  • ProSci Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification

  • Strong experience in structured change management methodologies
Required Experience

  • Minimum 9 years of project management experience, including end-to-end project delivery

  • At least 6 years managing business transformation projects in a healthcare environment

  • Minimum 6 years leading OCM initiatives using ProSci methodology

  • At least 3 years developing training curriculum in healthcare (systems or processes)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Altera Sunrise healthcare systems in acute care

  • At least 1 year working on emergency medical/paramedic transformation projects, including operating model design
Key Skills

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Expertise in organizational change management and transformation

  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities

  • Experience with healthcare IT systems and digital transformation

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information

  • Full-time onsite role

  • Standard workday: 7.75 hours (with potential for additional hours as required)

  • Work will support provincial healthcare transformation initiative
