Please note: The salary range above represents this position’s earning potential. The anticipated hiring range for this position will be $101,474.00 to $176,258.00, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The mission of the Department of Technology & Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) is to use information technology to:
TEBS is a fully integrated enterprise in which all Montgomery County Government Departments and Offices can use reliable, accurate, and secure information to perform the government services and functions essential to the citizens of Montgomery County.
The Department of Technology Services, Office of Change Management, is seeking a Change Management Manager, Grade M3 (Manager-III), to direct daily operations and ensure the effective delivery of change management strategies, enterprise training, communications, project and product delivery, and operational improvement projects. This role drives organizational awareness, adoption, and continuous improvement of IT initiatives, products, and processes. The manager will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee project intake and execution, and foster a culture of innovation and stakeholder engagement.
This position may require occasional after-hours or weekend work. Such instances are uncommon and occur only when responding to emergency system outages.
A criminal background and credit history check will be conducted on the selected candidate prior to appointment and will be a significant factor in the hiring decision.
Telework: This position may be eligible for limited hybrid telework of up to 2 days per week, or more, after the initial training and/or probation period.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in any of the following areas: Change Management, Project and Product Delivery, Analytics, and organizational strategy coordination and development.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
