The Change Manager Coach role is focused on coaching and empowering leaders, teams, and stakeholders to successfully adopt and sustain organizational change. As a Change Manager Coach, you are passionate about helping leaders communicate effectively, build alignment, and create environments where teams can thrive during change. This individual brings strong experience in coaching, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and influencing at all levels of the organization.

A candidate for this role is responsible for partnering with leaders and teams to drive clarity, alignment, and adoption of change initiatives. They coach leaders on communication, support teams in navigating uncertainty, and help identify and remove barriers to adoption. This role also focuses on building long-term change capability within the organization by reinforcing continuous improvement, feedback, and sustainable ways of working. Experience with Agile principles and product organizations is beneficial, helping connect change efforts to iterative delivery, team effectiveness, and business outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities and Role Overview:

  • Coach leaders and teams through change, helping them navigate uncertainty and improve adoption

  • Drive clear, effective communication strategies that translate complex change into meaningful, audience-centered messaging

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to build alignment, trust, and shared understanding

  • Assess readiness and manage adoption, identifying risks and implementing practical mitigation and reinforcement plans

  • Facilitate engagement and collaboration through workshops, retrospectives, and feedback loops

  • Strengthen change capability and continuous improvement, promoting transparency, learning, and sustainable ways of working

  • Support enterprise transformation efforts by partnering with Agile coaches, product teams, and business leaders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 10 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification or training in change management methodologies such as Prosci, CCMP, or similar frameworks.

  • Experience supporting business, technology, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Experience developing executive communications, stakeholder engagement strategies, and communication campaigns.

  • Experience coaching leaders and teams through organizational change.

  • Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or product operating models.

  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills.

  • Five or more years of experience in organizational change management, transformation, communications, leadership coaching, consulting, or a related field.

  • Experience leading or supporting complex organizational changes involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and stakeholders without formal authority.

  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and create clarity during times of ambiguity.

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
