The Change Communications Manager (BEL3) plays a key role in helping employees understand ERM’s ongoing business transformation by delivering clear, timely, and well-structured communications. Working under the strategic direction of the Global Communications Director for Transformation, the role leads communications delivery for defined transformation priorities and translates updates into simple, actionable messages.

This role provides strategic guidance and leads key communications delivery. While final decisions rest with senior leadership, the role holder is expected to work with senior leaders, use their judgement to shape recommendations, surface risks and opportunities, and ensure high-quality, consistent execution.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Change Enablement Support

  • Lead communication planning and delivery for assigned transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to maintaining and strengthening the transformation messaging framework within assigned workstreams.
  • Help ensure messaging is consistent across functions and regions.

Communications Delivery & Content Creation

  • Deliver communications with minimal oversight.
  • Draft and publish internal communications, including emails, Viva Engage posts, Poppulo newsletters, SharePoint/Minerva updates, talking points, and FAQs.
  • Tailor messaging for diverse audiences across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Support the creation of leader communications, including briefings, talking points, and updates during key transformation milestones.
  • Translate programme information into simple, consistent messages that help employees understand what is changing and why.

Channel Management

  • Alongside the Global Communications team, manage day-to-day activity across internal channels, including Viva Engage, Poppulo, and SharePoint/Minerva.
  • Ensure day-to-day channel activity aligns with the overarching transformation narrative and communications standards.
  • Monitor channel performance and act on insights with simple recommendations for improvement.

Engagement Activities

  • Provide recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and impact of engagement moments.
  • End-to-end ownership for planning and execution of global or regional town halls, virtual meetings, and other engagement events.
  • Coordinate logistics, prepare materials such as slide content, talking points, and follow-up actions.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Ownership for recommending, tracking, and analyzing communication performance using Poppulo, Viva Engage, SharePoint, and other available tools.
  • Produce regular insights to help improve the effectiveness of internal communications.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and enhance employee engagement.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Acts as a trusted advisor within defined workstreams.
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues across geographies to gather updates and coordinate messaging.
  • Provide practical communications guidance to leaders and subject-matter experts (e.g., how to frame messages clearly, what channels to use).
  • Work with Transformation teams to understand upcoming changes and communication needs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of ERM’s business, priorities, and transformation roadmap to ensure that you can advise the Communication team and senior leaders about transformation and be able to connect it to ERM’s strategy and purpose.

Influence And Decision Making Authority

This role provides strategic guidance and communications delivery with autonomy in execution. While final decisions rest with senior leadership, the role holder is expected to shape recommendations, surface risks and opportunities, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, consistent execution.

Job Requirements & Capabilities

Time period and commitment

This is a full-time role based in our Global Delivery Center in India. Some flexibility is required to work with colleagues in Europe and North America.

Location and reporting line

Reporting to the Global Communications Director for Transformation, the successful candidate will be located in our Global Delivery Center in India and may be required to work outside normal office hours.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Typically 5–8 years of experience in internal, change, or transformation communications.
  • Proven experience delivering internal communications across multiple countries and continents, and an understanding of cultural differences and communication complexities.
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, or professional services environment is required.
  • Experience supporting change programmes is essential.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint) is essential; experience with Poppulo is an advantage.
