Transport for NSW is seeking a Change Analyst to support the early identification, assessment, and management of change across services, processes, and systems. This role will support the early identification, assessment, and management of change during the project discovery lifecycle to reduce delivery risk.

In this role, you'll be:

  • Responsible for executing structured change management activities across the change lifecycle. Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical partners, you will assess the impact of proposed changes and support change implementation activities.
  • Assess and validate incoming change requests in line with defined change frameworks and discovery processes
  • Conduct structured change impact assessments across people, process, systems, and service dimensions during the discovery phase
  • Support the development and documentation of early‑stage change plans to inform project outcomes and downstream delivery activities
  • Support continuous improvement of change processes, templates, and reporting

About you

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting change management activities at the discovery or early project stage within a large, complex organisation
  • Practical experience conducting structured change impact assessments across people, process, systems, and service dimensions
  • Experience contributing to the development and documentation of early‑stage change inputs (e.g. impact summaries, change considerations, assumptions, and risks) to inform downstream delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with business, project, and technical stakeholders during discovery
  • A structured, analytical approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to assess emerging change impacts with limited information
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting change insights and recommendations in a concise, plain manner
