Job Description

Chalet Host - Morzine, Les Gets, Meribel

Stunning scenery, world class skiing, some of the world's most luxurious ski chalets, and you... have you got what it takes to help us deliver amazing luxury ski holidays on a winter season you’ll never forget?

You’ll need to be an all rounder with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment. You will be the face of our brand so must be well-presented at all times, whilst working alongside an experienced Chalet Manager and chalet team to deliver an exceptional holiday experience.

The role will involve basic cooking to prepare cooked breakfasts for guests on the chef’s days off, so you must feel confident in the kitchen. You will also play a vital role in presenting the chalet to an immaculate standard, so you’ll need a good eye for detail and mustn’t be afraid of hands-on housekeeping work. The role will also involve driving guests to and from the slopes, so you must be confident behind the wheel in order to provide a great service, whether serving cocktails at the chalet or driving guests on snowy roads throughout the resort. Our training programme will guide you in all of these areas and there will be ample time to build your confidence throughout the season with ongoing development sessions.

You will meet some amazing people, both your guests and of-course your colleagues. It'll be hard work but hugely rewarding. Whilst we have extremely high expectations of our team, we also strive to create a positive environment for our staff. We structure our roles into realistic shifts so you can be sure you will enjoy a positive work-life balance with plenty of time to explore everything the resort has to offer. Why not join us for a winter season in the spectacular surroundings of the French Alps?

About The Boutique Chalet Company

Mountain Luxury Redefined.

Founded in 2011 with a clear vision to redefine mountain luxury, The Boutique Chalet Company delivers a contemporary version of the traditional luxury chalet holiday. Today that vision is stronger than ever. It’s all that is good about our industry’s history, seamlessly blended with inspiration from exotic destinations and major cities around the world today. World-class properties, exceptional levels of service with fine attention to detail and a personal touch throughout. Offering a 5* luxury hotel experience in a private mountain residence. Winter and Summer. Chalets and Apartments. Mountain Luxury Redefined.

We are often asked where it all started and our answer usually surprises people. They expect to hear of a long time love affair with the snow and skiing, but for us it’s all about the properties and the service. We love the mountains for sure, but none of us are die hard skiers and that’s a good thing. Our real passion lies in the amazing, world-class properties which we not only operate but are privileged to have helped design and build, alongside all aspects of food and drink. Nowadays it’s that last bit, exceptional, innovative and unique dining and drinks experiences, that we think really sets us apart from our competitors.

We would say that simple quality is the goal we strive for, but as with all things simple, it’s the detail that counts. The refinement of this detail year on year is the reason our food and drinks experiences are considered the best in the industry! World-class properties, curated dining experiences, exceptional levels of service with fine attention to detail and a personal touch throughout. Offering a five star luxury hotel experience in a private mountain residence. This is our story. This is Mountain Luxury Redefined. So would you like to join us?
