This position requires working in the Vault Warehouse handling cases of manufactured dairy-related products coming off the production line, rotating cases of product, and cleaning the Vault. The use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting up to 100 lbs. as well as some paperwork.
Pay Range: $19.86 - $22.07
Essential Functions:
• Load and unload materials on pallets, trays, racks, chains, and shelves by hand.
• Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, stacks, or other containers.
• Stack or assemble materials onto pallets and band or shrink wrap stacks to secure product.
• Lift heavy objects by hand, with a metal hook, or with a power hoist, and clean the work area, machines, and equipment.
• Operate industrial hand truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Keep the work area clean and free of debris, remove broken products and any other hazards.
• Use chemicals to sanitize products and the warehouse.
• Properly rotate inventory to follow the first in, first out procedure.
• General housekeeping and clean-up duties
